The goal of ISPL is to advance our society through innovative solutions to those challenging issues in technology, economics, policy, and even politics, and to enable more balanced and unbinding future to be realized earlier. We focus on the "Strategic Management of the Dynamics of Innovation" and is to understand the role of technological and market evolution and innovation in shaping the destinies of industries and firms. We also focus on the effect of regulation on innovation and corresponding welfare of our society in order to enhance our social welfare through innovation.
Prof. Kim, Wonjoon has been conducting and publishing numerous researches on the strategic management of innovation of firms, industry, and governments centering on emerging innovation paradigms. His current research interest also covers the changing nature of innovation, including AI (Artificial Intelligence) and industrial and social change, convergence of technology and industry, mobility innovation, big data as well as the changing nature of the process of entrepreneurship. New insight into the drivers and structure of the knowledge production function, that is Science of Science, is also one of his interest.
